Cheat codes in the Banjo-Kazooie series are usually in the form of word or sentences entered in special locations, often enhancing the abilities of Banjo and Kazooie. Some codes can be learned within the game itself, such as codes given by Cheato or other characters. ASM codes in the game source code are hackable to change the game's behaviors with hexidecimal values and opcodes (when debugging roms), but some of them that are altered may crash the game.

Banjo-Kazooie[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie, cheats can be entered from the Sandcastle of Treasure Trove Cove once the Jiggy has been collected. With the exception of the codes learned from Cheato and the Stop 'n' Swop codes, the effects of most of these codes is temporary and they must be re-entered after quitting and opening the file again.

Warning: With the exception of the codes given to you by Cheato and Bottles, using cheat codes in the XBLA version of Banjo Kazooie disables saving and does not post your score onto the leaderboards. • L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges: Golden Trophy Thomas house and statue

Complete all six challenges from both L.O.G.'s choice and player choice vehicles with a 'T.T.' rank. The Trophy Thomas statue and his house in Showdown Town will turn golden.

• L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges: Klungo Sssavesss The Universsse! mini-game

Complete all six challenges from both L.O.G.'s choice and player choice vehicles with a 'Jiggy' or better rank and complete the puzzle picture in the level with colored Jiggys.

• Secret Gamer Pic

Complete all five levels of Klungo Saves the World to unlock a secret gamer pic featuring Klungo.

• Secret vehicle parts

First you need to have the Banjo Kazooie arcade game. Then, in Banjo Kazooie find the six colored eggs and the ice key. Now find the seven secret spots in Banjo Kazooie NAB and there will be a mumbo crate on each one once you obtain that secret item in Banjo Kazooie.

Beacon	Find the green egg in Banjo Kazooie then it will be in the cave under LOG's game factory.
Disco Ball	Find the red egg in Banjo Kazooie then it is beneath the Terrarium of Terror. Walk down the tunnel next to the wrench-it switch.
Flag	Find the ice key in Banjo Kazooie then it will be on top of boggy's gym.
Fluffy dice	Find the pink egg in Banjo Kazooie then it is in the boathouse under Banjoland doors.
Goldfish	Find the blue egg in Banjo Kazooie then on castle turret that overlooks the docks.
Googly Eyes	Find the yellow egg in Banjo Kazooie then on the beach below the lighthouse. You need the horn to obtain this item.
Mole on a pole	Find the cyan egg in Banjo Kazooie then it is on rooftop south of the jiggy bank acces via drain pipe near the canal.

• Surviving falls

If you are falling and are expecting death, press Start before hitting the ground. You will survive with about a quarter health. Alternately, press X before landing.

• Tuxedo Banjo

Once you have over 75 Jiggies, get to Spiral Mountain and beat Grunty in the final Showdown challenge. After the ending cutscene, reload your save and Banjo will be wearing a Tuxedo and Kazooie wearing a neck tie.

• Unlockable Jiggy Gamerpic

You can unlock a gamer pic of a Golden Jiggy by collecting all 131 Jiggies in the game.

• Upgrading your Showdown Town trolley

To add better parts to your trolley you must do levels (acts) with one challenge. If there is only one you will be pitted against Grunty. If you win you will receive upgrades, such as high grip tires, floaters, etc.
